We've become accustomed to the designer collaboration cycle, but every once and a while one comes along that can surprise even the most weary fashion soul. Welcome Isabel Marant for H&M. The notoriously press-shy, e-commerce reticent, cool girl go-to is taking Paris to Stockholm for the collection, launching November 14. Marant is slated to design a collection of must-haves, a wardrobe inspired by her signature rockstar-boho fusion for the French girl style — and for the first time, a line for men.

"I am flattered by this collaboration," Marant explains, "H&M works with the best designers... I aim to creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy." The collection of ready-to-wear and accessories will hit 250 doors, presumably ones with lines stretched before them.
