James Charles fans ready to spend 'all their savings' on Painted after four-year wait
James Charles says that he’s been “hyping up” his make-up brand, Painted, since April 2023. Now that it’s finally launching, the influencer explained that it feels “surreal.” After four years of “blood, sweat, and tears,” James shared in his fans’ excitement over the make-up range’s release and answered some questions via his YouTube channel.
While the make-up artist came up against some criticism for how long his brand took to launch, Painted is finally here and many fans are super-excited. James explains on YouTube that in order to achieve everything that he wanted to with his brand, he needed a long time to make things happen.

The influencer and make-up connoisseur explained that the products will be available to purchase on August 7.
James has been “perfecting” his paints in the lab right up to the last minute, per his YouTube video.
How much do Painted products cost?

Create Paints cost $15 each and come in the following colors: Left On Red (red), Flaming (orange), Caution (yellow), SMS (green), Blueprint (blue), Turning Violet (purple), Pinky Promise (pink), Cold Brew (brown), Ink (black), and Ghosted (white).
The Artist’s Set, which includes all 10 paints and comes with free shipping and a free sponge, costs $135.
An Oversized Artist’s Sponge from James’ brand costs $10.
Painted brushes retail for $8 each or for a set of six, it’s $40.
Fans are willing to spend all their savings
James Charles’ Create Paints are finally here and after a four-year wait, fans have had a long time to save up for his products.
The influencer ran through his color selections on his YouTube channel and explained that Beyoncé has already worn two of his Create Paints on tour – Pinky Promise and Ink.
It’s safe to say that after such a build-up, fans are set to be flocking to stores to get themselves the Painted collection.
Writing on James’ Instagram reveal post, one fan commented: “Finna take all my money out my savings to buy these products.”
One said: “Okay, now I want the color theory challenge with your products. Make your perfect foundation shade with them!”
